The Committee on Matters of Pensioners, Veterans and Persons with Disabilities upholds the draft resolution on celebrating 40th anniversary of giving the city of Kerch an honorary title "Hero City"

During the meeting, the Committee members drew attention to the fact that September 14th marks 40th anniversary of giving the city of Kerch an honorary title "Hero City". During the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945, Kerch was the site of fierce fighting against the Nazi invaders.

Te draft resolution (Reg. No. 2578) suggested celebrating 40th anniversary of giving the city of Kerch an honorary title "Hero City" at the state level on September 14, 2013.
